Budhvar Vrat Katha

This story is as follows- Once Emperor Mandhata was sitting in his courtyard, then Maharishi Vasistha came there. On receiving the information of the arrival of Maharishi by the gatekeeper, Maharaj along with his Principal Councilors appeared at the maingate ,welcomed Maharishi Vasistha and offered him best sit accordingly.After that King requested-“O prabho! tell worthy service for me”
Shri Vashishth Jee said- “O Rajan! I came to your kingdom while traveling. I am happy to see you all healthy and you are all well” King Mandhata said-“O Prabho! Everyone is safe by your grace, but there is a request to kindly clarify the method of any fast, by following which all sins, heat will be quenched and heaven will be fully accessible.”
