Budhvar Vrat Katha

Maharshi Vashishth said-“ O Rajan! You asked such a best and useful question; So, I am telling you a most virtuous ,rarest and best vrat vidhi of heaven and earth ,kindly listen it carefully. ”
This great virtuous fast is the Wednesday vrat. A person, who observes this fast duly with devotion ,receives all the pleasures in the world and finally attains Shri Vishnu Lok.
King Mandhata said-“O great Sage! What is the result of observing this fast on Wednesday.What is the method and who is the god of this fast? Who first observed this fast on earth, please explain all this with full detail.
Vashishth Jee said- O Rajan! I am describing the fruits of this fast in brief form, even Barhma Ji have not much power to explain the complete nature of this fast.
