यदि किसी मनुष्य के जन्म से ही उसका मंगल नीच स्थान में हो या उसके दूषित कर्मों से मंगल भगवान क्रोधित हो जाएं तो जीवन कष्टकारी हो जाता है, तो उसकी शांति के लिए मंगलवार का व्रत किया जाता है। मंगल के प्रदायक देवता का वार है मंगलवार। मंगल के देवता जब प्रसन्न हो जाते हैं तो अपार धन-सम्पत्ति, राज-सुख, निरोगता, ऐश्वर्य, सौभाग्य, पुत्र-पुत्री प्रदान किया करते हैं।
प्राचीन ग्रंथों में पवनपुत्र, केसरीनंदन, अंजनीसुत, रामभक्त हनुमान को मंगलवार का अधिदेवता वर्णित किया गया है। पवनपुत्र श्री हनुमानजी की पूजा-अर्चना से सभी तरह के शारीरिक और मानसिक कष्टों से मुक्ति मिलने के साथ-साथ सभी तरह के वैभव, उच्च पदों की प्राप्ति और जीवन में सुख-सम्पत्ति तथा आरोग्य की उपलब्धि होती है।
If a person has low Mangal by his birth or Mangal dev became angry on a person by his/her wrong work then life became hell and disturbed. People got advised from their priest or well wishers to do Tuesday fast to get peace from Mars planet. Tuesday is the day of Mars planet’s God Mangal Dev (Hanuman Jee). It is believed that if you succeed to please the god of mars, you will get enormous wealth, health, prosperity, children and all the desirable’s facilities in your life.
Pavanputra, Anjani putra, Rambhakt Hanuman is the god of Tuesday. Those people, who regularly worship God Hanuman, will automatically get free from mental and physical health problems with all the different highest designation and dignity in his life.

∗ चावल/अक्षत (लाल रंग से रंगे हुए) - Rice / Akshat (unbrokable rice coloured with red color)
∗ हनुमान जी की मूर्ति या चित्र - Statue or Picture of God Hanuman
∗ जल - Water
∗ धूप -Dhoop
∗ दीप (चार मुख वाला) - Lamp (with the four faces)
∗ गंगाजल - Holy water / Ganga Jal
∗ लाल फूल - Red Flower
∗ इत्र - Scent
∗ लाल चंदन - Red Sandalwood
∗ लाल धान्य के बने हुये व्यंजन (यदि धान ना हो तो गेहूं या मैदे से बना हुआ मीठा व्यंजन) -
Some sweets made up with red grain (Use wheat or flour to prepare sweets if paddy s not available)
∗ लड्डु - Laddu
∗ लाल वस्त्र (हनुमान जी के लिये) - Red Cloth (For God Hanuman)

मंगलवार व्रत पूजा विधि:-
Tuesday Vrat Vidhi
All the men and women can keep fast of Tuesday as per their capability and affordability. Fasting during period is prohibited for women . Any men or women should have to kept at least 21 Tuesday fast. After that they can do the udyapan of Tuesday fast.
The devotees has to wake up early in the morning on Tuesday and do their daily routine, use branch of chaff tree or rough chaff tree to clean the teeth (don’t use ordinary tooth brush), use mixture of sesame & amla powder over body before bath. Dress up with red cloth because red colour is favourite colour of God Hanuman. Clean the prayer room, and sprinkle some holy water / ganga jal to purify the worship place. Collect all the pujan/worship material. Make 8th petaled lotus flower by red coloured rice. Place God Hanuman over the 8th petaled lotus flower. Now sit in front of God Hanuman and start prayer along with your famiy member. Now fold your both the hands, concentrate yourself towards God Hanuman and
