Then she again said that O Chauth God ! If her son’s get married then she will be doing 5.25 kg tilkut.
After a few years Her son’s marriage was fixed and her son went to get married. But moneylender’s wife didn’t do Tilkut.For this reason God Chauth became angry and he took her son from wedding vows and kept him at Peepal tree. Everyone started searchig for the groom but he could not be found.All were get disappionted and returned back to their home.
Here, the girl with whom the son of the moneylender was going to get married, went to take grass in the forest to worship Gangaur with her friends.
Just then a voice came from a peepal tree on the way- “Come my half-married! ”
After hearing this, when the girl came to her house, she slowly began to dry up and be harvested.One day, girl’s mother said- “I feed you well and dres you well,yet you keep drying up? why so? ”
Then the girl said to her mother that whenever she goes to the forest to collect grass , she heard a man from peepal tree says “come my half-married. ” He had applied henna and also tied sehra.
Then her mother went near the peepal tree and saw that the man was her son-in-law.The gril’s mother asked to her son-in-law, -“Why are you sit here? You made my daughter half married.Now what would you need.” Moneylender’s son said- “My mother promised to do Tilkut for chauth.But she did not do.So, Chauth maa got angry and made me sit here.”
