लक्ष्मी पूजन विधि :-
किसे कहाँ स्थापित करें :- 1st Step
लक्ष्मी पूजन में जो व्यक्ति पूजा कर रहे हैं उनका मुख पूर्व अथवा उत्तर दिशा में होना चाहिये। वह लाल आसन या कम्बल पर पत्नी तथा परिवार के साथ बैठे । यदि कम्बल या आसन ना हो तो कुश के आसन पर भी बैठ सकते हैं। पूजा करते समय पत्नी हमेशा पति के दाईं ओर बैठे । यदि ब्राह्मण पूजा करा रहे हो तो उनका मुख उत्तर की ओर होना चाहिये।
दो चौकी या पटरे लें। यदि चौकी उपलब्ध ना हो तो थाली प्रयोग कर सकते हैं। पहले चौकी पर सफेद वस्त्र बिछायें। चौकी के ऊपरी भाग के मध्य में 卐 (स्वास्तिक या सतिया) बनायें। स्वास्तिक के बायीं ओर अर्थात् ईशाणकोण(उत्तर-पूर्व) में ॐ एवं दायीं ओर अर्थात् अग्निकोण(पूर्व-दक्षिण) में श्री: चावल से बनायें अथवा रोली घोल कर लिखें।
स्वास्तिक के नीचे ब्रह्मा, विष्णु एवं शिव के निमित्त तीन लम्बी ( खड़ी लकीर) लकीर ऊपर से नीचे की ओर खीचें।
चौकी के निचले भाग में- वायव्यकोण(उत्तर-पश्चिम) में नवग्रह- मण्डल हेतु चावलों के नौ पुंज या रोली से नौ बिंदु बनायें।

Face of the person who perform the worship (Laxmi-puja) should be towards east or north. Person should sit on red mat or red blanket with his wife and family members. If mat or red blanket is not available then sit on mat made up with kush. Wife always sit at right side of husband during worship. If the worship perfomed by Brahman, then the brahman’s face should be towards north.
Take two small wooden plank or chauki .If chauki or plank is not available then take plates. Layer the first plate or chauki with white cloth. Make swastika in middle on the chauki. Write “ॐ” at left side of swastika i.e. at northeast corner and “श्री:” at right side i.e. south east corner. Draw all with solution of roli or rice flour solution.
Make three straight vertical lines as symbol of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva under the swastika .
Make nine points as symbol of nine planets or navgrah at northwest corner of chauki or wooden plank.
